A mobile-first online store for a rug and carpet brand that, until this project, had only ever sold through Instagram DMs.
Tapete sells rugs, runners, and carpet accessories — for homes, but also hotels, restaurants, offices, and studios. Before this project, every order went through Instagram direct messages: no catalog, no filtering, no self-serve checkout.

The Ukrainian accent lives in typography and warm, textile-inspired color rather than literal iconography. Category tiles on the homepage get buyers into the catalog in one tap — the way Instagram shoppers already browsed.
The sidebar facets — price, manufacturer, material, pile height, size, shape — match what the client actually gets asked, not a generic e-commerce filter set.

A slide-out cart that keeps buyers in the browsing flow instead of pulling them to a new page.

A self-serve checkout — the step that used to be a back-and-forth in Instagram DMs.

Every screen above — catalog, filters, product page, cart — was designed mobile-first, since most Tapete traffic arrives from Instagram.
Converting better than the DM-only process it replaced. No formal metrics are tracked yet, but the client reports smoother, faster order handling and has kept the design unchanged since launch.
